Oxford Sandy & Black Weaners.

Meet Bodie & Doyle. They are this years pig breed we are trying out at Pool Cottage and we have fallen for them big time. They are gentle, funny and at the moment, easy to handle. They love their food like any self respecting pig and they particularly like fresh vegetables straight from the field polytunnel. Cabbage and yellow beetroot seems to be the current favourite. We intend to keep them through to early December, at which point we will take them to slaughter and then butcher them ourselves ready for Christmas.
